Joycelyn Wells

Joycelyn is the author of The Virtues of Joy, more Virtues of Joy and mor3 Virtues of Joy. Prior to publishing the first compilation of short stories, she told a good girl friend, "I can see this as an HBO or Netflix series." With that vision in mind, she sat down to adapt The Virtues of Joy into a movie script (2018).

As she has continued to write more Virtues, the idea to bring the virtues to life continued to grow in her mind. In the Fall of 2022, she could no longer ignore the call to action. Now, here we are... eager to Experience Joy.

We've got high hopes! Why film festivals, you ask? They are the places for filmmakers and people who are interested in the world in its variety, different approaches to life, film as an art form, a medium and a tool of social expression go to meet up! In addition, film festivals offer filmmakers a platform to introduce their work and discuss topics shown in the film as well as the filmmaking process. Hence festivals encourage and create dialogue between people. Hello Cannes! Hello Sundance! Is that you calling?

Mina Hampton-Smith is a published author, professional playwright, screenwriter, executive producer, theatre and film director. Mina is also a book publisher, musician, and entrepreneur.

Mike & Jacqueline Bosby

Mike "Silk" Bosby, owner of JPN Network is a vocalist, songwriter, producer, award winning director, scriptwriter, film teacher, coach, and driver’s education instructor. Silk has a degree in Video/Film Production.

Jackie Bosby, is a Producer of Open Book on JPN Network and creator of HOME, a non-profit organization that develops and implements all forms of educational training & informational programs for all.

Joycelyn, author of The Virtues of Joy, is a storyteller, gifted from a place unseen with the ability to transport an entire crowd of listeners to a place of welcomed pleasure or forcing uncomfortable shifting upon a single reader, of either of my books, due to the fear of acknowledging the purpose of their existence.

Her gifts have allowed her to entertain audiences across the U.S., Toronto and Naples, Italy.
